01. Only sites that relate to a particular fandom will be accepted. A fandom is a group of people that share a similar interest. Your site can feature anything entertainment related such as actors, musicians, models, TV shows, video games, movies, books, etc. Media only sites such as galleries and forums without a main site are accepted on a case by case basis. Personal or design sites are accepted, but only as paid accounts.

02. All sites will have two weeks to be completed unless an extension is given. Sites must also be updated on a regular basis. If a fan site has not been updated for over 14 days then it will result in an account suspension and later removal or adoption, depending on the situation. If a user wishes to place their site on hiatus, they must let Our Fandom know when they are to be expected back and leave their site open for viewing. Sites left on hiatus without permission may be removed or put up for adoption. This does not apply to paid accounts.

03. In order to offset the costs for our network, an advertisement code must be displayed at the top of all pages including galleries and forums. If your site uses frames, the code must be placed inside the frame. Competitive advertisements are strictly forbidden unless given prior permission. Users are allowed to use affiliate programs such as Amazon or place a donation link on their site in order to gain revenue. The only exception to this rule is if a member has purchased a paid account. Please see our knowledgebase for more information.

04. Users are required to display a link back to our network on the main page of their website, and in the header or footer of any galleries and forums located on their site. For paid accounts this is optional, but very much appreciated.

05. Media files are allowed to be uploaded directly to the server as long as they are zipped or compressed for download. Media streaming is not permitted for any file type unless members have purchased a paid account. Personal files used for storage or direct linking purposes should not be uploaded to the server at any time. Do not remove the hotlink protection for any reason.

06. Users are not allowed to host other sites on their account without prior permission. The goal is to refer as many accounts as possible to Our Fandom, so please send newcomers our way instead. Networked sites such as a “mini” site are allowed to be hosted on an account as long as it directly relates to the fandom, although it must follow the same rules pertaining to displaying advertisement codes. This does not apply to paid accounts.

07. Subdomain accounts should not use redirect links for their website because it eliminates promotion of the Our Fandom network.

08. Users should be aware that they are responsible for all content displayed on their sites. This includes news, multimedia, pictures, and the actions of visitors (within reason). Our Fandom does not claim to bear any responsibility for this content, and any questions or issues related to a specific site should be directed to the webmaster of that site, and not the Our Fandom staff.

09. When moving your site to a new network, please do not use our server as a redirection service. Kindly cancel your account through your member area after you have removed all needed material. Our Fandom will not be responsible for any data loss.

10. Paid accounts do receive a small grace period if their bill is not paid by the first of every month. Accounts with open invoices will be suspended and later terminated for lack of payment. Our Fandom is not responsible for any data loss.
